Ed Donaldson brings to the Morgensheer Hospitality Inc. Consortium over 30 years’ experience in sales and marketing; leisure, tour, group and corporate travel market segments. A well-respected hospitality executive, Ed’s expertise includes creating strategic, results-oriented programs for deluxe, luxury boutique brands.
He oversees sales and marketing initiatives on behalf of Morgensheer Hospitality Inc.’s real estate clients, implementing sales and marketing tactics to increase and identify market share, capitalizing on Revenue, occupancy and RevPar/GopPar opportunities. Additionally, he provides guidance with the selection of partnerships with global sales and marketing representation firms (boutique and independent hospitality assets) to maximize exposure within target market segments domestic and international. During the course of his career Ed has held senior level sales and marketing positions at branded and independent hotels, sales and marketing representation companies such as: Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, Morgans Hotel Group, St. James’ Club, Parc 51 Hotel, Capstar Hotels; along with representation Small Luxury Hotels of the World, JG Black Book of Travel, Altour International and TravelClick.
Ed holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Marketing along with a Master’s of Science in Marketing from Wayne State University. He is based in New York, New York.
