Horwath HTL- Miami
Agnès Pierre-Louis has over fourteen years of international experience in hotel operations, real estate and hospitality strategy. In her current role as Senior Consultant, she focuses on market studies and pre-development consulting for hotels, residential real estate, health and wellness/sustainability and master planned communities in the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
With strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of the industry, Agnès develops successful strategies that maximize value for all project stakeholders. Recent assignments include programming of a luxury resort development in Mexico, brand selection for an all-inclusive property in Jamaica, concept refinement and feasibility of a lifestyle resort in Costa Rica’s rain forest and assessing growth strategy for a wellness resort brand in the United States.
Before joining Horwath HTL, Agnès managed Le Plaza Hotel, a 95-key property in Haiti and was responsible for re-launching and restructuring the company. She also worked in Sales for Marriott International and resort development consultancy with Economics Research Associates in London. Her experience in both luxury markets and emerging destinations throughout Europe, the Americas and the Caribbean have helped her develop acute problem-solving skills and a passion for innovative and sustainable solutions.
As health and wellness have moved from the margins of the industry to become important components of mainstream hospitality projects, Agnes’ expertise has been in demand to conduct an increasing number of assignments for proposed resort properties, particularly as the industry recovery continues to strengthen in Central America, the Caribbean and Mexico. Agnes works with investors and developers to identify best uses and to create sustainable health and wellness hospitality projects to drive market share and revenue.
Agnès holds a bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Tourism Management from Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, a Certificate in Hotel Real Estate Investment and Asset Management from Cornell University, and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management. She is fluent in English, French, Spanish and Creole.
