Joseph J. Banda is an experienced professional with an international background and functional business experience in the areas of business development, inside sales, capital markets, as well as technology management and operations. He serves as Business Development Client Services manager for the Morgensheer Hospitality consortium; providing real estate development investment opportunities to clients.
Joseph is a results-driven, client-centric Business Development, Sales, Real Estate, Technology and Financial Industry professional with 17 years of experience that includes business development, relationship management, project management, trading operations, valuation analysis, fixed income, and equities trading.
Adept at working in fast paced environments with cross-functional teams; he solves problems quickly and builds strategic partnerships while meeting tight deadlines. He owns and manages client engagements and projects; provides services for the Consortium’s strategic partners; an expertise, he developed during a career of providing consulting and product management services for 20+ financial institutions.
His past experiences include tenure at Acenonyx - VP of Finance, iPreo – Assistant VP (Variable Rate Trading) , Napa Group – VP of Client Services and Jasper Capital as Equities Trader. The aforementioned roles along with a robust exposure to capital markets (corporate finance and trading) has shaped Joseph’s experience as he builds relationships and creates value with regards to client engagements.
Joseph received dual MBA degrees from Brown University and IE Business School. In undergraduate, he received a dual degree in business administration from Northeastern University in the areas of Finance & Insurance and Management Information Systems.
