Financial Markets and Investments
Bill Feingold, the founder of preeminent convertible-bond consulting and publishing firm Hillside Advisors, LLC., is widely recognized as an authority on convertible securities. He appears frequently in the financial media (Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, Forbes.com, CNBC, Fox Business, etc.) as a de facto spokesman for the asset class. Over nearly 25 years Bill has managed convertible hedge funds, traded convertibles for major Wall Street firms, sold and analyzed convertibles, and ran a convertible-focused consulting and publishing firm.
Bill's expertise goes well beyond convertibles. With a network of bankers, investors and traders he has built since the mid-1980's, he is regularly consulted on a wide range of investments and has published three books on the financial markets. He wrote a comparison between options and basketball in the early 1990's that is still widely read on Wall Street during March Madness.
Bill's previous roles include proprietary trader at Goldman Sachs and head of convertible research at Lehman Brothers. Bill has an MBA in finance with distinction from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in economics, Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude from Yale University. He also taught finance at Yale and Brooklyn College and is teaching an honors investment seminar at Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, New York.
"What chance gathers she easily scatters. A great person attracts great people and knows how to hold them together."
Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe
